When you close your eyes, what do you see?

If you could have any body, what would it be?

How often do you think about this? What’s the intensity?

My human friends say they would choose something stronger, something faster, something balanced.

No wings or horns, no tail or claws. No fangs. Just an improved human shape.

I can not relate.

And they don’t dwell on it either - on their body.

They don’t mourn their deviations from their ideal.

“Sure it would be nice,” they say, never “I would give up everything to look this way.”

So my feelings stay at the tip of my tongue.

I would bite off my legs if it could give me horns, only I lack the fangs to do it.
